John Harrison

John Harrison founded Iron Rock Group in 1998 with a vision to create a truly integrated design firm. Under his leadership, the firm has grown from a small civil engineering practice to a multi-disciplinary powerhouse with over 50 professionals.

Leadership Philosophy

John believes that the best projects emerge from close collaboration between disciplines. He championed the firm’s integrated approach, bringing architects and engineers together under one roof to deliver more coordinated, cost-effective designs.

Areas of Focus

Throughout his career, John has specialized in large-scale commercial and institutional projects. He has led the design of over 5 million square feet of commercial space and continues to be involved in the firm’s most significant projects.

Community Involvement

John serves on the board of the local AIA chapter and is an active mentor for young architects in the community. He regularly speaks at industry conferences on the benefits of integrated design practice.
